Remarks:

Yesterday we took a step back and allowed Mother Nature to do her thing, temperatures remained above freezing for most of the day and we saw some significant rainfall. Overnight the temperatures fell back below the freezing mark and the mountain operations team stepped into action. We sent the fleet of groomers out in an effort to push and grind as much snow as possible. The coverage remains good and there is plenty of snow left in strategic places so the PistenBully crew did their best putting everything back together. In an effort to allow them more time we have decided to push back opening until 9am today, expect fresh surfaces on two-dozen green circle and blue square trails. Skiers will be able to navigate their way off of the tops of our lifts and down our main trails all the way into the base area without leaving the fresh corduroy. The forecast on Saturday has us expecting temperatures in the mid-20s under mostly sunny skies and strong winds out of the west.
