There are a few stray snow showers this morning but nothing to speak of in regard to accumulations, That being said the 5-8" of "Champlain Powder" we received earlier in the week really improved the skiing surfaces. With so little early season skier traffic the past few days there are still pockets of freshness to be found all over the hill. The lower angle terrain continues to offer up the best skiingon the hill. The cats were released from their lairs overnight to groom a very nice selection of greens and blues. On the steeper terrain you can hear your turns and it is a bit more technical, but it is eminently edge-able and most enjoyable, truly excellent mid-winter conditions. The base is relatively deep, considering the time of year and the skiing is remarkably good.
