Mad River Glen Comments:
The weather forecast is looking spectacular for Friday and on into the weekend with temps near 70 along with brilliant sunshine. It is remarkable how well the snow is holding up and it is amazing how good the skiing is - in my book this spring snow is a very close second to a powder day! We expect to start out the day on Friday with the vast majority of the main mountain terrain open, but that may change over the coming days as temps are on the rise. Obviously we are expecting soft, spring surface conditions. The snow report for today is a projection - exact trail counts may be updated. The upper reaches of the mountain still have a truly decent snow pack and the run-outs at the bottom are thin but still ski-able top to b ottom. Our plan is to remain open through Easter Sunday which will be the last day of the 2010 ski season here at MRG!
