Trail and lift counts at Killington are deceptive. Mountain management insists on including trails and lifts at Pico (when it is open.) Pico is a separate mountain. There is no skiiable connection between Killington and Pico. You have to take a bus to get from one to the other. So, please bear this in mind and don't be fooled by big trail and lift counts when you read the mountain conditions on Killington's web site. Pico is closed mid week as a cost saving measure and so are some of the lodges at Killington (There are not enough skiers to make it financially profitable). Key lifts are scheduled to open at 9 a.m. and all services are available at Snowshed and Ramshead Lodges. The K-1 and Bear Mountain Day Lodges are open with limited services, including Cooper's Coffee, restrooms and ticket kiosk for one-day ticket purchases only. Residents of Vermont ski for $44 every Tuesday and Wednesday!
