Speciic mountain wearther forecast from NWS for Jay Peak
Comments
Jay flurries never disappoint; 3-5" of light blower snow is awaiting your arrival. Snow is forecasted to taper off this morning, but currently that is not the case, as visibility is low due to heavy snowfall; sorry.
TODAY: You'll be skiing or riding on 72 of 76 open trails under, currently, very snowy skies, but will most likely be partly sunny by lunch time. It wouldn't hurt to pack an extra layer today, for temps won't get out of the single digits up top and will hold steady in the high teens down low. All eight lifts are scheduled to spin this morning; lower mountain lifts spin at 8:00a, upper mountain lifts spin at 8:30a and last chair is at 4:00p.
