About No Bull Ski Vermont

Do you completely trust advertising, or do you need a more independent view compiled by an independent organization? Ski reports put out by ski areas are basicallly advertising. They tend to leave out negative stuff. Words like "rain" are still banned by some ski area managers. During times of gale force winds, lifts are described as being "on hold" instead of being shut down! Icy conditions are described as "slick" or "fast." Maybe you still believe in what you hear and read from corporate America and concealment of the facts is what you are used to.

But, here at the No Bull we try not to use such weasel words to describe conditions. No Bull Ski Vermont provides daily ski reports on the major ski areas in a forthright manner. We use and sometimes "translate" information provided by the ski resorts themselves together with other independent sources. It sort of becomes an intelligence gathering operation as we become familiar with the way a mountain describes and sometimes obfuscates what's going on.

So if it is raining or has rained recently we tell you about it. But, we will also tell you when we think the conditions are good too.

If you want recommendations on when to go skiing plus news and gossip about the ski resorts, become a member. It is only $39.95 per year.
